Let me explain why I believe these myths are not true

Myth – Change has to be difficult
It’s true that making big changes like quitting smoking can be very difficult but it doesn’t have to be. Using cutting edge psychological techniques (Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP) big changes can usually be made in one 5 hour session. This is because NLP techniques change behavior and motivation on an unconscious level and can change who your are and how you behave on a very deep level.

Myths – Change has to take a long time & healing from emotional problems requires years or decades of therapy 
With traditional therapy techniques its true that big changes occur gradually…typically over periods of months, years or decades.  Fortunately, NLP techniques accelerate the process immensely.  Most big changes can be accomplished in one 5 hour session with a skilled NLP Coach. This is because NLP takes advantage of the subconscious mind’s ability to learn new things very quickly if the correct techniques are used.

Myth – All emotional wounds heal with time
A very common phrase is that emotional wounds heal with time.  While this is often true it’s also pretty common for emotional wounds to remain open and intense for years or even decades.  But with NLP type techniques those who are stuck with these persistent emotional wounds can experience healing and closure very quickly…in terms of hours or days as opposed to years or decades.

Myth – It’s impossible to change who you are at the core
If you know the right psychological techniques you can change a lot about yourself.  Not all counselors or therapists know these techniques and that can definitely limit or greatly slow down the changes you experience. 

Myth – You have to grieve the loss of a loved one forever
This one is never true.  Grieving is normal up to a certain point but prolonged grieving is optional.  There are advanced psychological techniques that cab end intense grieving in just a few days and there are even more powerful NLP techniques that can resolved prolonged grieving in less than an hour.

Myths – If you’ve had a bad habit for decades it’s too late to quit & quiting smoking cigarettes is just too difficult & if you’ve been certain way all of your life it’s too late to change & it’s really hard to stop bad habits
You’d be amazed at how quickly one can change long standing habits,  even a decades long bad habit like smoking.  I smoked for 12 years and chain smoked for about 10 of those.  I couldn’t stop smoking no matter how much I tried. The more I tried to quit the more I smoked.  Then I had a 2 hour NLP session and haven’t had any desire to smoke since then.  That was 18 months ago!

Myth – You can’t change your beliefs
Beliefs are just ideas you’ve been exposed to over and over again until you’ve come to believe that they’re true.  Any beliefs can be changed, especially limiting beliefs – beliefs that hold you back and limit your success in life.  There are actually some simple but powerful NLP techniques that can change a major longstanding limiting belief in about 15 minutes!

Myths – Some people just can’t have the success they want in life & I’m just an unlucky person – nothing good will ever happen to me
Every person has the potential for success and the resources to get that success. Of course some people start off life much more disadvantaged that others but we all have either the resources within us to succeed or we have the resources within in us to know how to find the resources that we need in order to succeed.  Advanced psychological techniques like NLP allow people to access the resources that they didn’t even realize they had and use them to make the changes they need to make in order to be successful in any area of life.
